I am proud to announce that as of August 1, 2006, Fairfield Farms Home Owners Association Board is back and working for our neighborhood.

We have had three meetings and a great brainstorming session within our first month as a board. In the midst of these meetings, we have started several sub-committees: Activities, Communication, Enforcements, Entrances, and Neighborhood Watch. In the near future, these respective committees will be looking for volunteers to help, prioritize issues, and be an active part of our community. With your help, these committees will be successful.

Our finances are secure, but we have not paid dues for a year and a half now. With this is mind, our common areas were still being mowed, electric for the entrance lights was still on, and bills behind the scenes were still coming in. We have decided to collect a partial due assessment ($35) for 2006 to help pay for these expenses. This assessment shall be due by October 31, 2006.

Again, I am proud to put to rest the rumor that our Association was DISSOLVED. Let us stop talking about the issues in our neighborhood. Rather, let us all, resolve the issues, as neighbors, and check them off our list.
